Star Studded Fabrication

Overview

We designed, fabricated, powder coated and installed a pair of bespoke star-shaped entrance structures for Nottingham Forest Football Club, each an impressive seven metres tall. The project, from enquiry to installation, was completed in two weeks to hit the Premier League season launch.

What We Did

Fast-tracked planning

We created a delivery plan on day one, ensuring our internal team and supply chain were fully prepped to meet the tight deadline.

Full CAD design within 24 hours

Using 3D CAD modelling software, we turned around complete technical drawings for approval within a day.

Rapid fabrication turnaround

We allocated dedicated workshop time to ensure the steel structure was fabricated to spec and to the required load-bearing standard.

On-site delivery and installation

We worked directly with the main contractor, coordinating resources and fitting to complete the installation on time.

Project Details

Nottingham Forest FC needed a show-stopping player entrance ahead of their Premier League return. With just two weeks to go before the season started, we were tasked with designing and building two seven-metre-tall star-shaped structures. This allowed us to show our full capabilities, from creative design and quality fabrication to powder coating and tight coordination.

We produced cutting files for our laser system and fabricated the frame from structural-grade mild steel. The frame was engineered to accept custom aluminium cladding and internal LED lighting. We sourced bespoke acrylic panels for the lightboxes and worked with our trusted electrical contractor to install the lighting directly into the subframe. The structures were then powder coated in-house to match the club’s colours and delivered for installation. Thanks to careful planning and strong collaboration, the project was delivered exactly to spec and on schedule.
