Our Steel Cylinder Raised Bed is perfect for adding circular levels to you garden or to make prominant plants more of a focal point. This planter is available in mild and corten steel. Circular raised bed planter is ideal for vegetable growing. Also available as a Cor-Ten Steel Cylinder with a base.

How do we make a Round Raised Bed?
We laser cut the steel to ensure our design is precisely and consistently replicated for each item. Once the laser cutting is complete, we use specialist Computer Aided machinery to apply roll the flat sheet steel to form a perfect cylinder. We complete the fabrication by hand using only the best, qualified fabricators who take immense pride in their work.
Each Cylinder has a double folded return top lip feature. A lot of similar products on the market leave a steel edge, or a single fold. We have opted for a double fold for several reasons:
- Its a much higher quality, premium finish (It just looks so much better!)
- It gives the Cylinder unbelievable strength and rigidity, and
- Its safer for hands when planting.
Once we?re finished you won?t know where the welds are! As they are handmade by our professional fabricators each Cylinder is ever so slightly unique adding to the charm of this product.
What is it made of?
Our Rustic Patina Steel Cylinder Raised Bed is made from Hot Roll Mild Steel. We make all our Rustic Patina Steel Cylindrical Planter from 2mm thick steel as standard. Any custom sizes can be produced in up to 6mm steel depending on the intended use. If you select to upgrade to a Cor-ten Steel Cylindrical Planter you can be assured that you're buying a genuine certified Cor-Ten Steel Planter. How will my order arrive?
We have a trusted network of nationwide pallet and parcel couriers. Larger sized planters or orders with larger quantities will arrive via a pallet courier, and smaller sized orders will arrive via one of our parcel courier partners. All deliveries are fully tracked. Lead time is currently 3 to 4 week - please enquire if you require a shorter lead time.
How long will it take for the planter to weather?
Rustic Patina Cylinder Rasied Beds are available in a raw steel finish as standard. The finish will start to develop a beautifully unique orange and brown patina in a matter of weeks and will continue to develop over a period 6 to 12 months. Speed of weathering process depending on factors such as Weather, Climate, and Proximity the coast/ sea spray etc. You can order your planters pre-weathered if you're as impatient as we are!
How do i maintain it?
Unlike wooden or plastic alternatives no maintenance is required at all! All you need to do is fill, plant and enjoy!
Other things to note
Due to the natural weathering process the ’run off ’ from rainwater and watering may stain the surface the planter is placed upon. This a higher risk during the 1st 6 months of the weathering process.
We may have started the weathering process for you; planters can be delivered in various stages of the weathering process from new steel to full patina. Our Cor-Ten Steel Cylinder Raised Bed range develops a patina more quickly than our Rustic Patina Steel Cylinder Raised Bed.
All dimensions are in millimetres and in Diameter x Height format. A 1200 x 400 planter is 1200mm diameter and 400mm high.
