Different Options in Outdoor Heating
Wood Burning Steel Chimineas
Our steel chimineas are the perfect outdoor fireplace. They’re made from heavy-duty steel and can be used for cooking or burning wood for heat. We add a contemporary twist to our chimineas with unique laser-cut designs that are often compared to pieces of art. You can purchase one of our chimineas in a heat-resistant matte black paint finish or our signature patina finish.
Corten Steel Log Stores
Our Corten steel log stores are designed as outdoor storage units for use with outdoor fireplaces, log burners or fire pits and add a unique touch to your garden or patio. Features of our Corten steel log stores are:
- Durable
- Weather resistant
- Cross braces to provide stability
- Lip at the front and rear to secure logs of differing sizes
- Drainage holes in the base
- Feet on the base for stability
Gas Burning Fire Pits
Our Corten steel gas fire pits are outdoor fireplaces fuelled by either LPG Propane or mains gas instead of wood. With a variety of styles available, including removable tabletops, they can even double as a useful table when not switched on. They offer a convenient and clean-burning alternative to wood-burning fire pits and can be turned on and off with the flick of a switch. Select from rustic Corten weathered steel, sleek stainless steel or matte zinc.
FAQs: Simplifying Your Experience
Why choose a chiminea from WEATHER IT?
We take the quality of our products extremely seriously. We weld a full seam weld from the top to the bottom of the chiminea, not a ’stitch weld’ method which leaves gaps in between the welds. This is incredibly important as chimineas are exposed to extremely high and sub-zero temperatures and a full weld gives the strength required to avoid warping and distortion over years of constant use. It also looks so much better! After welding we take the time to finish and polish the weld so it looks like a continuation of the steel. We also use the best quality British steel to give greater durability and to hold the heat for longer. Â
How big are the chimineas?
The dimensions of our chimineas are:Â Â
Height – 1.3 mÂ
Base – 350 mm sq.Â
Top – 90 mm sq.Â
How will my order arrive?
We have a trusted network of nationwide pallet and parcel couriers and your order will arrive via one of these partners. All deliveries are fully tracked and free throughout the UK mainland. Â
How do I maintain my outdoor heating products?
You don’t have to maintain them! You may wish to purchase one of our waterproof covers to help prolong the painted finish, but an occasional wipe or brush down to remove any dust or debris is all that’s required. The beauty of our steel products is the minimal maintenance they require. Â
What are the benefits of a gas fire pit?
There are various benefits of a traditional wood-burning fire pit which include:Â Â
- Convenience – easy to start and don’t produce any messy ash to clear up.Â
- Control – gas fire pits allow you to control the flame, making them safer and more versatile. Â
- Efficiency and eco-friendliness – gas fire pits produce less emissions than a wood-burning alternative. Â
- Space saving – there’s no need to store wood or coal to fuel the fire, saving you storage space. Â
What if I can’t find the size or shape of chiminea or gas fire pit I want?
Our team loves using their industry expertise to create bespoke products to meet our client’s unique requirements, so if you can’t see the products you’re looking for, get in touch with our team for our tailored services. There’s no project too big and we love to find solutions to interesting challenges. Â
