We can create rustic patina planters from up to 6 mm steel should you require it and, using our laser technology, we can create bespoke designs and sizes. How are rustic steel planters different from other types of planters?
Rustic patina steel planters are much more durable than planters made from plastic or wood, which are highly susceptible to rot and damage. They are extremely sturdy and develop their distinctive patina during wet and dry weather cycles.
Are rustic planters durable?
Yup! The mild steel we use for rustic planters is very durable. Each one is made from 2 mm hot-rolled steel and can be made up to 6 mm, depending on the use. This makes our steel rustic planters long-lasting and resistant to damage.
Do rustic steel planters require maintenance?
Maintenance? What maintenance? Actually, our rustic steel planters need very little ongoing care. Possibly a bit of washing off of dirt and debris from time to time, but the patina that our planters develop in the first six to twelve months protects and maintains the steel for decades of garden envy and enjoyment.
Can rustic patina steel planters be used indoors?
Yes, of course they can! Rustic patina planters are suitable for all types of environments, indoor and out, across domestic and commercial spaces. You may prefer that we produce a watertight planter if you’re going to use them indoors, call us to ask one of our sales team for a free quote.
